Athletic trainers say losing weight is all about a life style change and not a quick fix

Athletic trainers recommend that people have realistic expectations to lose one to two pounds a week.

Phoebe Northwest athletic trainer Chauncey Keith says losing weight takes time, planning, and commitment.  "People who are successful at weight loss experience a lifestyle change” says Keith.

Keith recommends exercising for 30-45 minutes three to four times a week.
