Two Dougherty County inmates share their stories of gangs, drugs, and violence
Inmates from the Dougherty County Jail share their life experiences with students at Dougherty Middle School Friday to encourage good decision making.
Inmates spoke of gangs, drugs, violence, and bad decisions to a packed cafeteria of hundreds of students. Sheriff Kevin Sproul says this program shows what the “real world” is about. Sproul also says middle school aged children are the ones that are susceptible to gangs. The program will continue in schools that want to participate.
