Police have arrested and charged a woman in a stabbing case

An Albany stabbing lands one man in the hospital.

Officers got the call around 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon and responded to 908 Mercer Avenue. According to police, 25-year-old Nakeishia Moore went to the house to pick up her children and got into an argument with 35-year-old Decarya Jefferson. Moore told police Jefferson pushed her, after which Moore punctured one of the tires on Jefferson's car. Moore stated Jefferson pushed her again, and that's when she drew a kitchen knife and stabbed Jefferson in the left arm. He was transported to an area hospital and released.

Moore has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespass.
