A coalition of local churches is trying to change the city of Albany through prayer.

The Untied Albany Prayer Campaign met for the fourth time December 13 to pray for the city of Albany. Church members from Trumpet of God, Victory Tabernacle, Plantation Assembly, and Greenbrier church are praying over seven pillars—family, religion, education, the marketplace, government, media, and arts and entertainment.

“The Bible tells us that if we pray, God will hear our prayers. He’ll move into our city, and he’ll begin to restore it, and so it’s the first fruit of what I believe is going to be the restoration of this community,” said Trumpet of God Senior Pastor Charlene Glover.

The prayer campaign is an affiliate of the Southwest Georgia Ministerial Alliance.
