MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) — At least one Molotov cocktail — or something similar — was thrown into a city hall in Ohio, starting a small fire.

The fire early Monday set off sprinklers that caused water damage at Mansfield City Hall, about 60 miles north of Columbus.

Mansfield Chief Phil Messer says authorities found four second-floor windows had apparently been broken from the outside. They also found evidence of what he called something like a Molotov cocktail, as well as a gasoline odor.

Authorities are looking for the man they believe is responsible. A man with the same name and age as the suspect had several cases pending in the court. A phone number could not be found for an attorney associated with the case.
