Police say the 21-year-old clerk was shot in the stomach and buttocks and died at the scene
ATLANTA -- A store clerk was fatally shot at an east Atlanta liquor store Friday night, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Atlanta police Det. Lt. Keith Meadows told the AJC that a man walked into the Moreland Package Store just before 10 p.m., pulled a pistol, and demanded money. Police say the 21-year-old clerk was shot in the stomach and buttocks and died at the scene.
The gunman ran away but was arrested a short time later.
