Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will host their annual Jingle Bell Jog this weekend to raise money for its pediatric and NICU units

Hospital officials say Giraffe beds are lifesaving machines that simulate the womb as the NICU staff helps nurse premature babies back to health.

The Jingle Bell Jog is partnering with the Children’s Miracle Network at Phoebe to sponsor the race to fundraise for the specialized equipment.

More than 500 people are signed up for the 5K and 10K races.
