22-year-old Jerome Johnson arrested

The Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit helped U.S. Secret Service agents get an alleged counterfeiter off the streets.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Jerome Johnson on forgery charges after reportedly finding $1,700 in counterfeit $20 bills in his car. Police say Johnson was using a standard inkjet printer to make the bills. Authorities say Johnson tried to flee by ramming an agent’s vehicle, more federal charges are pending.
