Santa Claus kicked off the Christmas season at the Albany Mall Friday night

Hundreds of children crowded the Albany Mall to greet a special visitor from the North Pole.

Santa told FOX 31 that the children of Albany have been very good this year and he can't wait to give them presents on Christmas!

Children at the mall said their Christmas lists include everything from Barbie dolls, to video games, to peace on earth.
