The Lee County Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards banquet Thursday evening honoring those who give back to the community
Individuals and businesses were given awards for their contribution to Leesburg and the surrounding area.
Executive director Winston Oxford says the banquet is their way of saying “thank you”. A lot of people are unsung hero’s that go unnoticed so we try to recognize people and businesses in several categories” says Oxford.
The Chamber of Commerce also installed the 2010 Board of Directors at the banquet.
