Nathan Grigsby entered his plea to six counts of public indecency and four counts of contributing to the deprivation of a minor

(AP) --  A former Southwest DeKalb High chorus teacher has pleaded not guilty to charges he allowed male students to perform a
lewd dance on female students.

Nathan Grigsby entered his plea to six counts of public indecency and four counts of contributing to the deprivation of a minor.

Solicitor Robert James said the dance involved simulated sex acts and was "something you'd expect to see at Chippendales."

A student recorded the dance and posted it on Facebook. That led to Grigsby's firing in December 2008.

Grigsby, a popular teacher, had taught at Southwest DeKalb for eight years. Parents and students protested his firing.
