Franklin told CNN in an interview aired Monday night that she will vote for Kasim Reed
(AP) -- Mayor Shirley Franklin has announced who will be getting her vote Tuesday in the race to replace her as Atlanta's leader.
Franklin told CNN in an interview aired Monday night that she will vote for former state lawmaker Kasim Reed as her successor.
Franklin said she thinks Reed has the best set of skills and has support from both Republicans and Democrats.
She said Reed has been there to do some tough things at the Legislature and has the best chance of working in the region and the state.
