A new apartment complex for low income seniors held a groundbreaking ceremony today
Innovative Housing Initiatives broke ground on Arcadia Courtside, a $2.2 million apartment complex for low income seniors.
Arcadia Courtside will require all future residents to be at least 62-years old and verify their low income status. The complex is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The apartments will be able to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers and other special features unique to senior citizens.
Arcadia Courtside is scheduled to open in October 2010.
