Buie turned himself in to Albany, GA officials October 19 on 12 felony charges including theft and conspiracy
A Dougherty County Superior Court judge says indicted former Downtown Manager Don Buie must stay in jail until his trial.
Buie had a bond hearing Monday morning at the Dougherty County Jail. Buie's mother and girlfriend testified that he is not a flight risk and could stay at his girlfriend's house in Albany if let out on bond. Judge Denise Marshall decided against their arguments and denied bond. Buie turned himself in October 19 on 12 felony charges including theft and conspiracy. Those charges stem from his alleged mismanagement of ADICA money.
