The Roosevelt School is scheduled for completion in December 2010

(AP) -- The state labor department is breaking ground Thursday on a state-of-the-art, $20 million rehabilitation and vocational facility for young people with disabilities.

The Roosevelt School is scheduled for completion in December 2010. The 70,000-square-foot, two-story structure will have 152 beds and will house the Vocational Rehabilitation Unit's departments of health management and driver education and the Brain Injury Day Program.

The school will complement the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation and will serve students between the ages of 18 and 26.
