46-year-old Vincent Romone Wadley is placed on suspension without pay
An Albany Police Officer is arrested and charged with child molestation.
Authorities say allegations were made against 46-year-old Vincent Romone Wadley. An investigation was conducted this afternoon and sufficient probable cause was established. Chief John Proctor is disappointed and said that inappropriate conduct by any officer will not be tolerated. Officer Wadley has been placed on suspension without pay pending the outcome of the case.
Wadley has been employed with the Albany Police Department since August 20, 2004 and is assigned to the theft unit in the investigations division.
