The University of Georgia Athletic Board is deciding whether it wants to continue the tradition of playing the annual Georgia-Florida football game in Jacksonville.

Georgia's athletic board was to meet on Wednesday and decide whether it wants the contest to stay where it is after the current contract expires in 2010.

Georgia athletics director Damon Evans says there have been talks with Jacksonville officials about remaining there, but no new contract has been signed.  University of Florida officials say they want to keep the game in Jacksonville.

Evans and University of Georgia President Michael Adams previously have said they are open to all options, but that they are reluctant to move the game because of its tradition in Jacksonville, where it has been played for all but two years since 1933.
