(AP) -- Most metro Atlanta students will return to school after getting a day off as campuses closed to deal with storms and flooding.

Many schools are set to reopen Wednesday but Cobb, Douglas and Paulding schools were to remain closed.

Public school maintenance crews spent the day Tuesday mopping up water that crept into buildings and school transportation executives were mapping out alternate bus routes around blocked streets.  The changes might delay pick up times for students in Forsyth, Fulton, Atlanta, DeKalb, and Gwinnett school districts.  T

he 442 students at Clarkdale Elementary in Austell will get another day off as officials figure out what to do with the building, which was submerged in the storm.
