(AP) -- A 25-year-old Rome man is charged with making threats after police say he assaulted a woman by throwing a cement statue through her front door.

Police have charged Tyree Gibbs with felony terroristic threats and acts along with misdemeanor charges of simple battery and criminal trespass.

Police say he went to an address in the 200 block of West Big Indian Trail and threw a cement statue through the front door window.  The statue reportedly hit the woman on the head, but she suffered only minor injuries.

Police say Gibbs was seeking $100 the woman allegedly owed him.
