No formal crime scene has been established

An autopsy on a body found floating in the Flint River this week shows multiple stab wounds to the torso and face.

Police say they’re investigating the case as a homicide.  Officers say the identity of the black male has still not been positively confirmed; though investigators say they have a strong feeling the victim is 52-year-old Willie Haggines.  A personal ID card of Haggines was found inside a wallet on the body.  Investigators are soliciting the help of the public on Haggines' whereabouts from September 12 through September 16.

No official crime scene has been established.  Haggines was last seen in the four points area around Mobile Avenue, Moultrie Road and Radium Springs Road.
