Robert McCormick was buffing the floors when he escaped from the Cook County Jail

The Cook County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Robert McCormick was assigned to buff floors when he walked out of a side door between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Officials know it was a planned escape because there was a vehicle waiting to pick up McCormick.
McCormick was serving time for drug charges that violated his probation.
McCormick is 5'8", 170 pounds, and has tattoos on his chest, back, right leg, and both arms. Officials say he also goes by the nickname Lil' Duck.
