Deerfield-Windsor Key club members washed cars Saturday to raise money for St. Jude's Children's research hospital

The Deerfield-Windsor Key Club was scrubbing up some money for a good cause Saturday.

Students had their hands full, washing cars in the Deerfield-Windsor Upper Campus parking lot to benefit St. Jude's. The Key Club members also sold tickets to the event for five dollars.

“We decided we wanted to host a car wash, we haven't been able to have one for the past two years because of the drought but we wanted to host it cause it's a really great fundraiser and it's for a really great cause,” Said Key Club Co-President Anna Germany.

They raised an estimated $800 to $1,000 Saturday.
