A local pastor is chosen out of an elite group from all over the country to receive an honorary doctorate degree in divinity.

The Saint Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida chose Lion of Judah International Ministries Founder Walter Chambers to receive a PhD in divinity. Chambers started the church nine years ago in Americus when he and his wife started ministering to people out of their car. They now have 1,500 members and four locations including Albany, Bainbridge,  Minneapolis, and Nigeria.

“The bible says if you’re faithful over a few things then he’ll make you ruler over many, and that’s our testimony,” Chambers said. “As we were faithful over what the Lord has given us and really being obedient to Him, God began to expand us and expand our reach and territory.”

Offer your congratulations to Chambers below in our comment section.
