Chamber President Catherine Glover says they want everyone to learn about consolidation so they can cast an educated vote if the issue does go to the ballot
Chamber President Catherine Glover used part of Wednesday’s chamber breakfast to talk about consolidation.
Glover says the chamber supports a vote on consolidating the Albany and Dougherty County governments. She says they want everyone to learn about the issue so they can cast an educated ballot if the issue does go to a vote.
“You choose which way you want to vote, but it’s essential that you vote, because this is your government, and if you don’t take that opportunity, you’re going to miss out on the opportunity to be heard and to be counted,” Glover said.
City and county leaders are currently discussing the consolidation issue.
