Protestors against government sponsored health care showed up to the event at Stonebridge Golf Course Monday afternoon

Congressman Sanford Bishop held his annual golf tournament Monday, but not everyone was there to support him.

Protestors against government sponsored health care showed up to the event at Stonebridge Golf Course this afternoon. They say they want Bishop to vote against President Obama’s health care plan.

“I hope it brings about an opportunity for us to have our voices heard, and for those voices to be represented in Washington,” said protestor Bill Waller. “That’s what the process is supposed to be about in America.”

Supporters and opponents of the health care plan will assemble at Bishop’s Albany office next Tuesday.
