The new show features songs about the outer banks of North Carolina

Theatre Albany is hoping to bring the beach mentality to locals!

Their new show, "King Mackerel and the Blues Are Running" is a musical, showcasing songs about the outer banks of North Carolina. Their musical numbers range from shags and rock-n-roll type songs to ballads and stories. The show starts Friday the 14th at 8p-m and runs until August 29.

Tickets are $22.
