68-year-old victim of a May 21 home invasion in Loganville has died

(AP) -- The 68-year-old victim of a May 21 home invasion in Loganville has died of her injuries at Atlanta Medical Center.   

Authorities said Epsie Ewing had been in intensive care since she and her husband, C.F. Ewing, were beaten and robbed at their home.  Loganville Police Chief Michael McHugh said athough C.F. Ewings injuries were minor, Epsie Ewing was unable to recover from fractures to her face and arms. 

Two Monroe men, 18-year-old J.J. Blackwell and 21-year-old Corey Butler were arrested days after the attack and 18-year-old Barry Marquez Partee was later arrested. The three now face murder charges along with others of assault and robbery.
