Supporters called for Fire Chief James Carswell's termination
Reverend John Burr was back at the City Commission this evening, stating that former Assistant Fire Chief Roderick Jolivette was wrongfully demoted.
Burr further argued that the Albany Fire Department is under the wrong leadership and called for Fire Chief James Carswell's termination.
After Burr spoke, there was an outburst from Jolivette's supporters. Mayor Willie Adams threatened to have them escorted from the meeting.
