Phoebe Putney offers free health screenings for men

Free screenings, including PSA, cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure will be offered

More than 500 men are expected to show up for the eighth annual Men's Health Conference, which provides free health screenings, information booths and lectures.

This life-saving event will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Phoebe HealthWorks, 311 Third Avenue.  Free screenings, including PSA, cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure will be offered.

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital has partnered with 100 Black Men, the American Cancer Society, Phoebe Cancer Center, Phoebe Community Visions, Southwest Georgia Public Health District, Georgia Department of Community Health and Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition to create awareness of men's health issues and provide preventative health measures.
