Colquitt County man named best dad
WFXL viewers have selected this year's best dad.
Edwin Merritt of Colquitt County is this year's winner of the "Rescue My Dad" contest. Merritt's children nominated him saying the father and baseball coach is the most caring man they have ever met. They say Edwin took care of their mother when she was diagnosed with cancer.
Merritt won a gas powered trimmer with accessories from Town and Country Tractor and a 100 dollar gift certificate to University Gifts and Apparel.
