Zaccheus Obie will be sentenced on Wednesday for one count of pimping a minor

A 26-year-old Atlanta man has been convicted of taking his 16-year-old first cousin to Metropolitan Parkway for prostitution.

Zaccheus Obie will be sentenced on Wednesday for one count of pimping a minor.  He is facing as much as 20 years in prison. According to testimony, police learned of Obie after the girl was arrested in May 2008.  He bought her clothes and paid to have
her hair done before she was sent to stroll Metropolitan Parkway.  According to testimony, he took her money.

Obie also is charged with raping the girls younger sister, also his first cousin.  That case has not been taken to trial.
