Albany Rotarians learned the latest news about ABAC.

Assistant Dean Dr. Joe West discussed many entities of the University of Georgia Tifton’s campus including its science area that helps Tifton with vegetable, cotton, and livestock production. Dr. West spoke about the need for young people to take an extra interest in the science field.

“In the United States we have a serious shortage of science and mathematic teachers of students in those areas.  If we can get young minds interested in the sciences at a young age, they may pursue this and there’s no telling what they may do in the future,” said West.
