An Albany escapee on the run who reportedly held a man at gunpoint while trying to steal his car is back in custody.

Dougherty County Sheriff's deputies found 20-year-old Joshua Potter Thursday night.  They turned Potter back over to the Albany Transitional Center Friday and he's now being held at Lee State Prison.  Potter and 24-year-old Trevor Barber were serving out sentences at the transition center, but they didn't return Tuesday night.  Police say the two men held 37-year-old Tracey Porter at gunpoint and tried stealing his car Wednesday night outside Gameland Billiards on N. Slappey Blvd.  They fled when Porter hit his car's panic button.  Police caught Barber a short while later, but Potter got away.

No word on what charges will be filed.
