Albany police are looking for an escapee in connection with an attempted armed robbery.

Police say 20-year-old Joshua Potter is on the loose.  They say Potter and 24-year-old Trevor Barber approached 37-year-old Tracey Porter with a gun at Gameland Billiards on N. Slappey Blvd. and tried to steal his car just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.  They fled when Porter hit the panic button, but police caught Barber a short while later.  Potter got away.  The two men were staying at the Albany Transitional Center serving out sentences and did not return when they were supposed to on May 26.

Call Crime Stoppers at 436-TIPS with any information about Potter's whereabouts.
