It only costs $5 to get a cup of food to feed the alligators
For the first time, families can now feed the gators their weekly meal at 1:30 every Saturday until the weather cools down.
Zoo curators say it's perfectly safe because visitors are not feeding them meat. "We've got a safe alternative with the biscuits that we feed," Assistant Zoo Curator Ben Roberts said. "It's a scientifically prepared diet for alligators and crocodiles so it's perfectly safe to handle."
It costs five dollars to get a cup of food to feed the alligators.
