Man struck by car while riding his bike

Albany police say it was a pedestrian involved accident that backed traffic up on Oglethorpe Blvd. this morning.

Police say around 10 a.m. 49-year-old Milton Majors was attempting to cross the street on his bicycle when 45-year-old Wanda Lancaster struck him with her vehicle.

Majors was taken to the hospital and treated for the serious injuries he sustained.

Police say charges are pending.
