Southwest Georgians came together Thursday night to support the Albany Advocacy Resource Center.

About 200 people attended the auction and dinner at the Knights of Columbus on Gillionville Road.  This year’s theme is a Mexican fiesta.  Guests got to bid on over 150 items ranging from gift baskets to tropical vacations.  ARC Board Member Allan Russell says they’re going to use the money to enhance their programs for the disabled.

The group hopes to raise $10,000.
