(AP) -- Authorities are releasing new details surrounding a shooting April 25 outside an Athens theater that left three people dead and prompted an international manhunt for a Georgia professor.

Police say that marketing professor George Zinkhan targeted a Clemson University economist who volunteered with the
professor's wife at the local theater group.  Authorities say Zinkhan fired at Tom Tanner first, then aimed at Zinkhan's wife, Marie Bruce.  Jim Fullington with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the third victim, Ben Teague, was "at the
wrong place, at the wrong time."

All three died at the scene.  Police found Zinkhan's body two weeks later in a self-dug grave in the woods not far from his home. Police said Zinkhan shot himself.
