Tuesday at the Dougherty County Courthouse, nearly 200 people gathered for a proclamation wreath program recognizing victims of crime while promoting awareness.  After being victimized, Tonya Abner of the Victim Witness Office says having someone to talk to truly helps.

“This is important to let the victims of Albany-Dougherty County know that there are not alone, there are people and agencies that are here to care for them and they matter,” said Abner.
