No cases have been confirmed in Georgia as of Monday
Twenty additional cases of Swine Flu confirmed Monday in the U.S.--the count is now up to forty confirmed cases. With outbreaks in Spain and New Zealand, it has the potential to become a pandemic.
No cases have been confirmed in Georgia yet. Doctors say while there's no cause to panic, you do need to practice safety measures like washing hands, covering a cough and sneezing into your sleeve. Dr. Jacqueline Grant says the Health Department is doing its part. It will open up its local emergency operating center Tuesday.
If you've been exposed to the Swine Flu, you'll know within 48 hours if you've caught it. Symptoms are the same as the regular flu--head aches, body aches, fever and sore throat.
