Many supporters of the Boy Scouts turned out today to help raise money for scouting in the 17 counties of the Chehaw Council
The Chehaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America held their Friends of Scouting Breakfast this morning.
Many supporters of the Scouts turned out today to help raise money for scouting in the 17 counties of the Chehaw Council. Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle served as the guest speaker, preaching the development of character in young people. Scouting Executive Ray Allen says being involved in scouts helps facilitate kids' success.
“The important things that go into the values of scouting is leadership, character, citizenship, learning things of right and wrong in life and how to distinguish those things when you’re working towards whatever endeavor you have in life,” said Allen.
