Flooding doesn’t flood Sara Dorsett’s spirit

Two days ago, Leesburg resident Sara Dorsett noticed the water in her back yard was rising.

Thursday it completed flooded her front, side, and back yard; four feet deep in most areas. She and her family moved in less than a month ago, which means she's not eligible for flood insurance yet.  Surprisingly she and her family still maintain a positive attitude.

“I’m very grateful for what I have and my kids.  What if we didn’t have the upper part and we were down there you know and didn’t have a way to get out, that would be awful. We’re going to be okay, we’re going to be fine, we can do it, we’re going to be good,” said Dorsett.
