Dougherty County could possibly use SPLOST funds for the project

The Dougherty County Commission heard from County Administrator Richard Crowdis today about fencing in the area around Turtle Grove Park.

Crowdis recommends putting up a barrier around the water park since it's so close to the road.  They've already created a type of barrier with benches and plants, but this new barrier would be similar to the one that surrounds the Turtle Grove Playground.  “You have two gates on either side and the babysitters or parents, mothers and fathers, could go in with their children and then be in a more controlled environment,” said Crowdis.

Dougherty County could possibly use SPLOST funds for the project.
