Fire Chief James Carswell says the fire broke out just before 10:30 a.m.
Albany firefighters worked to control a big fire at a Flint Avenue office building Monday morning.
Fire Chief James Carswell says the fire broke out just before 10:30 a.m. and had the flames out about an hour later at 413 Flint Avenue. Carswell says no one was inside at the time, but one firefighter was injured battling the flames. Carswell says the firefighter injured both feet, but should be fine. Wind made the fire difficult to control, but helped keep smoke away from the apartment complex for the elderly and disabled next door.
Fire investigators are still working to determine the cause.
