33 local employers spent the afternoon with students looking for work after graduation
300 Albany State University students mingled with potential employers at Wednesday’s Careerfest.
33 local employers spent the afternoon with students looking for work after graduation. All the students who spoke with FOX 31 News say they’re worried about getting a job in the recession, but are going to rely on networking to get their foot in the door. “My relationships with my professors, and then my current employers, I have managers and supervisors there, then some of the executives and professionals that I’ve met through my internships and networking with different business organizations,” said ASU senior Jessica Johnson.
Local police departments and schools were among the employers at Careerfest.
