Up to 150 contract jobs at Albany's Procter and Gamble plant are gone
The economy hits another big industry in Albany.
130 to 150 contract jobs at Procter and Gamble are being eliminated. Spokesperson Vince Falcione tells FOX 31 News that the cuts will begin immediately with an expected completion date of April 1st. Falcione says P&G will have to shut down a few machines to cut costs.
The company hopes the cuts will be temporary and is meeting with affected employees today and Thursday.
