Armed robbers hit another Albany restaurant, take $1,300 in cash
Albany police are looking for two men who robbed a fast food restaurant at gunpoint around midnight.
Witnesses say the two robbers, one armed with a handgun, walked into the Krystal's restaurant on Dawson Road and demanded money. Both men are black, medium build, and in their late teens. Albany Police Department spokesperson Phyllis Banks said, “As they made their way inside the store they demanded that the staff, which consisted of a manager and three employees, move to the back of the store and once they were in the back of the store the manager was demanded to open the safe.”
Krystal's general manager Gloria Postell says this is the first time her store has been robbed, and that the bandits got away with over $1,300 in cash.
