A burglary reporter Saturday at the US 19 Dragstrip could have happened month ago, according to police reports.

Charles Mentzer told Dougherty County Police someone broke into the main building and track tower at the racetrack sometime between September 1, 2008 and Tuesday.  Mentzer lives in Virginia and noticed the missing property when he got back in town this week.  He told police a television, VCR, two portable electric heaters, a PA system, three flat screen monitors, tools, lawn equipment, and an ATV, totaling over $5,600, are missing.

Police say the case remains active.
