U.S. Military Veterans honored in south Georgia
South Georgians took time out of their day to honor veterans Tuesday.
Albany State University held its 29th annual Veteran’s Day ceremony and Worth County Primary School brought together young kids and their relatives who have served in the military. At ASU, Korean War vet Larry Valis spoke to the crowd about never forgetting those who keep our country safe. Veterans from World War II, Vietnam, Korea, and more say it’s great to be appreciated.
They also say Veteran’s Day is a time to honor those soldiers we have lost.
