Volunteers from Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful were doing some heavy duty cleaning Saturday.

As part of their annual Rivers Alive Cleanup the volunteers were picking up trash and other debris along the Flint River. Items they found included a car seat, lots of tires and unused bullets.

The Rivers Alive Program encourages cleanups along the 70,150 miles of Georgia's lakes, rivers and streams.
